Hi, I'm Chad

I grew up in a small town, Tuttle, located outside of Oklahoma City, OK until 1996.  At 20 years old, I came to Horn Lake to visit family.  Now 25 years later I am still here.  Married to my wonderful wife Cristan, have 3 amazing children. (Chad Jr, Ian, Matthew)

  • Graduated from Tuttle High School in 1994

  • Attend University of Central Oklahoma before moving to the Mid-South.

  • I graduated from Northwest Community College in 2004 with a degree in Management Information Systems.

I have always believing in hard work, I started working when I was 9 years old.  I would mow my neighbors yard every summer in the scorching Oklahoma heat.  Mr. Dyson would critique my work and have me correct anything not done to his standards.   This was the start of my developing work ethic.

I have had many jobs over the course of my life.  Fast food cook, assistant manager at a convenience store, bookkeeper and many more.  I learned so much from each of them.  The most valuable lessons I learned from my time as a pre-press operator and shift lead.  This is where I began to develop my skill of leading people.  I was younger than the crew I was to lead, they had more experience than me.  I had a great Department Manager that was patient and gave me the guidance needed to succeed.

Currently my career path is in real estate.  I have been a real estate agent for the past 17 years.  I find this to be one of the most rewarding occupations I could have.  Helping and guiding clients through the ever changing world of real estate gives me a sense of purpose.  I am a forever learner.  I "upgraded" my sales license two years ago and got my Mississippi real estate brokers license.  I am also working on getting my Tennessee real estate brokers license.

Why am I running for
District 3 Election Commissioner

I was appointed to the position of Election Commissioner by DeSoto County Supervisor,  Ray Denison.  I am proud to serve my county in this capacity.  I am now wanting to continue serving District 3 as your Election Commissioner.

As an election commissioner,  the responsibility I have are:

  • Protecting the integrity in the election process.

  • Ensuring all eligible votes count.

  • Guaranteeing the right for qualified citizens to registered to vote.
